The "Del Monte Shopping
Center's Certified Farmers Market" will operate every
Sunday from 8 am to 12 pm, June 28th through October 24.
Over 25 farmers and vendors will offer a large variety of
locally grown, fresh-picked produce as well as specialty
items including farm fresh organic eggs, honey, fresh
seafood, potted plants, seedlings, fresh cut flowers, fresh
baked goods, and specialty teas.

The Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Del Monte
Shopping Center, through our Education Committee, are
pleased to announce the 3rd Annual "Back to School Festival"
to be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Del Monte Shopping
Center. The festival will host nearly 100 family-service
organizations to serve and educate parents on how to support
their child's personal development with a healthy dose of
interactive fun and games for children throughout Del Monte
Shopping Center. The event is open to the public and
free to all attendees.
We are now looking for organizations which serve children in
K-12 grades and higher education who would like the
opportunity to promote their services at the "Back to School
Festival".
